These are slightly different than original Eugenia as the biscuits are much darker, probably made with cacao as well. I think they also cut a bit on the filling and a lot on the rum… Consequently, the contrast between biscuit and filling is washed down in my opinion. I prefer the original version by a long shot and I was a bit disappointed when I opened the wrap, not expecting this kind. That aside, the biscuits are crunchy/crumbly/fresh. Price was also great compared to Amazon’s @ $24.50 for same qty, albeit the original one…
